The 51,750-sf Advanced Engineering Building elevates the University of Nevada, Las Vegas's College of Engineering with expanded research capabilities and a new presence along the campus' main pedestrian mall. Designed by SmithGroup, the building maximizes transparency and natural light with a large glass curtain wall and metal panel cladding, protected by a variety of external sunshade systems including a horizontal trellis on the south side and mesh screen on the east and west sides.
